Hopefully, you will glean from the web site that Excel Resourcing aim to be a little better than the average Recruitment Organisation. You may also have seen that we encourage feedback from both employers and applicants – we really do want to continue to improve.

We thought that perhaps we ought to explain how Excel Resourcing came about & who the owners of the company are?

Warren Jesse and Dario Bertuzzi began Excel Resourcing in late 2003, building upon the very successful period both had spent employed by another leading technical recruitment company.

Warren:

Educated at Surrey University (where he managed to cobble together a 2:1 BEng in Aerospace Engineering), Warren joined a renowned Aerospace manufacturing company as a Project Engineer.

Three years of genuine engineering challenge later, he realised that the world of technical recruitment would allow the fusion of deep routed technical knowledge with the ‘people skills’ that his outgoing personality had encouraged.

Joining a technical Recruitment Organisation as a Trainee Recruiter, Warren climbed the internal ladder as a result of his flair for speaking the same language as the engineering staff he was paid to help.

‘I really enjoyed my time working as a Trainee Recruiter – it was very comfortable talking to candidates and clients about real engineering & real work situations. I took great encouragement from the fact that I could instinctively understand the technical requirements’

By the time that 2003 arrived, Warren was ready to take the plunge into the business world and joined Dario in forming Excel Resourcing.

Dario:

Apprentice Toolmaker, Production Management, UK & overseas manufacturing experience! – Dario knows the technical engineering industry as well as the clients and applicants he now serves.

Following a hugely successful technical engineering career working within the automotive & ‘continuous improvement’ arena, Dario joined a fast moving technical recruitment company:

‘I felt that I was ready to develop some commercial and service industry experience & was delighted to benefit from my engineering background when I moved into recruitment’

Immediately a success within recruitment, Dario rose swiftly to the position of Contract Division Manager and soon built a well respected team of recruiters.

When Dario & Warren decided to pool their talents and form Excel Resourcing, their motives ranged from the entrepreneurial to the practical!

By 2007, Excel Resourcing has grown into a real force in recruitment and whilst Dario & Warren are still 100% committed to improvement and the development of the Excel offering, the anxiety about being able to afford to eat has been replaced by the insatiable appetite to get better & better!
